In this hands-on class, you’ll explore essential techniques for creating one-of-a-kind mixed media and collage art. Through guided instruction, you’ll learn how to build texture, experiment with layering, use stencils, and develop unique compositions—all while incorporating recycled and easily accessible materials. Whether you’re new to mixed media or looking to deepen your creative practice, this course encourages imaginative expression and resourceful art-making. Please bring a cutting mat (no smaller than 18" x 12") and an X-ACTO knife to the first session. The rest of the supply list will be discussed during our initial class meeting.
