Every good drawing or painting begins with a good composition. In this class we will delve into the concepts of what makes a good composition. With a focus on drawing, students will work with still life to deepen their understanding of how to arrange objects in a picture to create the desired effect. Classical examples and class discussion will provide students with feedback and direction. Students will need to purchase basic supplies: sketchbook, pencils & erasers.
