In this two-session course, students will work from a pre-arranged still life in the first class and create their own set up in the second class. Using a sanded paper, students will use soft pastel in layers to render reflective and textured objects. Through investigations of composition and subject matter, participants will explore how to create narratives with objects in pastel. Students are expected to bring some small items for their still life. All additional supplies included.
