Both Beginners and Intermediate level pastel lovers will enjoy this exploration of the fundamentals of color theory through observational set-ups and photographic references. Beginning with the properties of color (hue, saturation, and value), students work with limited color schemes in both mimetic and expressive studies to develop a fundamental understanding of color applications. Week 1 - Still Life, Week 2 - Landscapes, Week 3 - Portraits. Supplies included, personal supplies welcome.
