Assistant Box Office Manager (part-time)

We are presently seeking an Assistant Box Office Manager to provide leadership in the delivery of exceptional customer service. S/he assists in the management of box office and front of house operations and plays an advanced role in the administration of the Tessitura ticketing system. The ability to work flexible hours that include evenings and weekends is necessary.


House Manager (part-time)

We are presently seeking an outgoing part-time House Manager to provide the highest levels of customer service to all Wilson Center audience members, class attendees, group leaders, outside rental clients, supporters, and visitors. Hours will vary from week to week; this is a flexible position that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.


Part-time Events Assistants

The Wilson Center has positions open for Events Assistants who will communicate with clients, vendors, technicians, and internal teams to execute events. Over-hire work is part-time and paid per hour (commensurate with experience). Milwaukee Public Schools Arts Intern: Arts Camp 2018 (3 available)

The Wilson Center Arts Camp intern will develop leadership skills by working with campers in grades 1-6, instructors, and other high school and college volunteers to educate campers in dance/movement, visual art, theater, and nature. Each internship is 8 hours per day, 5 days per week for 2 weeks; the camp dates are Monday-Friday, June 19-23 and July 10-14; and the interns’ hours are 8:30am-4:30pm. The internships include paid breaks and lunch (healthy meals are provided to interns at no charge by the Wilson Center). Each day of camp begins with a nature hike and culminates with a community building activity. Interns promote a positive camp spirit through team building exercises and camper mentoring, encourage campers with art projects and programming, modeling skills, providing tips, and helping them problem solve. Ideal candidates will have some experience in the arts and interest in working with young children.

Milwaukee Public Schools Arts Intern: Starry Nights Summer 2018 Concert Series Stage Technician (2 available)

The stage technician intern will develop in-demand skills by working with stage tech professionals in the preparation and execution of a series of live performances in multiple genres and onstage configurations in an outdoor setting (Gerlach/Haack Outdoor Theater). Duties include but are not limited to loading in and out of lighting, sound, staging and power systems necessary to supporting each event, running lighting consoles, analog and digital audio consoles and other essential equipment. Ideal candidates will have strong interest in technical theater/event production, be detail oriented, self-motivated, hard-working, punctual, be able to lift up to 25 pounds, 50 with assistance, work at heights exceeding 10 feet outdoors in summer, and stand for long periods of time. The internship is 10 hours per day on the scheduled Fridays (once/week for 6 weeks) during the summer, plus one 8-hour training and safety session on site prior to June 29; hours are 12:00pm-10:00pm Fridays June 29, July 6, 13, 20, 27, August 3, and August 10. Interns must be available for six of the seven Fridays between June 29-August 10 from 12pm-10pm. Each intern receives one 30-minute paid break after six consecutive hours of work.
