Born out of his fascination with the compositions of Thelonious Monk, talented jazz trumpeter Jamie Breiwick created “Dreamland,” a new group dedicated to exploring Monk’s music. Also featuring Mark Davis (piano), John Price (bass) and Devin Drobka (drums), the group is named after a mysterious and unpublished “thought-to-be-composition” by Monk.
