May 13: Art for a Cause

Join this month’s teaching artist to create butterfly garden stakes that will be shared with families affected by substance use and substance-related loss as symbols of remembrance, support, and hope. This month you’ll select a butterfly pattern, cut, trace and color with special acrylic paint pens to create a beautiful translucent piece of art for spring gardens. This welcoming class encourages expressions of empathy and care while offering a creative experience. No art experience needed. All supplies included.
Note: Each attendee must register individually.
Space is limited. No drop-in’s please.

This program is a partnership between the Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts and the Waukesha County Department of Health and Human Services.
