Cabaret icons and Wilson Center favorites Joan Curto, Beckie Menzie, and Tom Michael return to The Harris Theater for a 75th anniversary celebration of the timeless music of Richard Rodgers. On March 31, 1943, the musical Oklahoma! opened on Broadway and forever changed the trajectory of musical theatre. This was Richard Rodgers’ first collaboration with Oscar Hammerstein II and would be the beginning of the most successful partnership in the history of American musical theatre. Richard Rodgers Reimagined features new arrangements and interpretations of the music he composed with both Hammerstein and his first partner, Lorenz Hart—music that is still performed somewhere in the world every day of the week.
