First Stage Theater Academy is the nation’s largest high impact theater training program for young people! At First Stage Theater Academy, you'll find: classes to inspire and engage every student, from beginner to advanced; an inspiring, welcoming environment that encourages each student to take his or her next step as an artist and a person; and a staff comprised of some of the finest professional theater and teaching artists in the region. Story Drama (Grades K4-2) • $160 • Saturdays, 9:00 – 10:00am

Encourage self-expression, concentration, and cooperation! Students will create dialogue and enhance creativity by recreating stories from, and inspired by, First Stage productions.
Playmakers (Grades 1-2) • $160 • Saturdays, 10:10 – 11:10am

Spring • March 25 – May 20 (NO CLASS April 15) • Swashbuckling in Sherwood
Take a step from interpreting stories to creating your own! Students are the leaders of their own creative drama experience as they create dialogue, action, characters, and enhance creativity by writing stories through carefully structured creative play.
Acting (Grades 3-12) • $160 • Saturdays, 11:15am – 12:15pm

Spring • March 25 – May 20 (NO CLASS April 15) • Scene Study
Acting technique is the foundation of performance, and actors spend a lifetime training and honing their skills. As an ensemble, build skills in character development, script work, and physical and vocal expression.
