Starry Nights • Jason Gillette and the Showtime Big Band

The swinging sounds of the big band return to Starry Nights! A collaborative celebration of Greater Milwaukee-area professional musicians led by Brookfield Central High School Music Department Chair and acclaimed woodwind artist Jason Gillette, featuring members of Wisconsin Conservatory of Music's We Six with acclaimed Broadway star and BCHS alumna Chelsea Packard, this timeless concert is perfect for audiences of all ages.

Packard recently appeared in Kristin Chenoweth’s PBS Live Recording of her concert titled HOME, in which she and Ms. Chenoweth dueted on the song “Enough Is Enough.” Her Broadway credits include: Wicked; Beautiful; and the Original Broadway Casts of Promises, Promises, Hands on a Hardbody, and The Radio City Spring Spectacular. In addition to numerous regional credits, her national touring credits include the Kristin Chenoweth Some Lessons Learned Album Tour and Wicked. Her voice can be heard on the television show Smash and the Tony Awards broadcasts from 2014-2017, and she was also a vocalist on the broadcast of A Christmas Story: Live. A proud Wisconsin native, Packard graduated from Brookfield Central High School in 2001.

Starry Nights is a series of free outdoor concerts performed at the Gerlach/Haack Outdoor Theater on Friday evenings in the summer. Gather your family and friends, pack your lawn chairs and picnic baskets, and find your perfect spot in the Wilson Center’s beautiful backyard!

The Gerlach/Haack Outdoor Theater offers lawn seating only. Guests who would like chairs are required to bring their own. To ensure good sightlines for all audience members, pop-up tents are not allowed. Please call our Box Office at 262-781-9520 with any questions.
