There’s something magical about summer nights in Brookfield—especially when they’re filled with music, laughter, and community spirit. This summer, the Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts invites you to experience Starry Nights, a beloved free concert series that brings families, friends, and neighbors together under the open sky.
Held at the beautiful Gerlach/Haack Outdoor Theater in Mitchell Park, Starry Nights offers six Friday evening concerts that are free and open to the public. It’s more than just live music—it’s a summertime tradition where people of all ages can enjoy local and regional talent, delicious food, refreshing drinks, and plenty of family fun.
Whether you’re spreading out a picnic blanket or renting a table, you’ll find plenty to enjoy:

June 27 – Altered Five Blues Band This powerhouse Milwaukee quintet serves up a gritty blend of original blues and electrifying live performances.
July 4 – No Starry Nights Concert Celebrate Independence Day with the City of Brookfield’s fireworks in Mitchell Park!
July 11 – The Rockin’ Robins & Classic Car Show Rock out to hits from the ‘50s and ‘60s while admiring hundreds of classic cars, hot rods, and motorcycles at our annual Cruisin’ at the Wilson Center event. No pre-registration or cost required for vehicles—limited to the first 300. See our website for car entry details.
July 18 – Chicken Wire Empire Rooted in Wisconsin’s bluegrass tradition, this energetic band brings new life to the genre’s classic sound.
July 25 – De La Buena A rhythmic journey through Latin America, blending jazz, Afro-Cuban beats, and global grooves.
August 1 – Tonight Only Covering everything from Santana to Steely Dan, Tonight Only plays the songs you love—spanning decades of blues, rock, and pop.
August 8 – Irish Fest Sampler: Áthas Get a sneak peek of Irish Fest with Celtic MKE’s Áthas—a fiery mix of traditional Irish tunes with a modern flair. Plus, enjoy a special opening act featuring music students from the Irish World Academy of Music and Dance.
