Photography Sessions at the Wilson Center
The Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts is excited to partner with Shoott to offer professional outdoor photography sessions on our beautiful grounds in Mitchell Park.

How Shoott Works
Shoott offers FREE 30-minute professional photo sessions with talented local photographers. There’s no sitting fee, no upfront cost, and no obligation to buy. Simply reserve your session through Shoott, meet your photographer at the Wilson Center, and enjoy your shoot. Afterward, you’ll receive a digital gallery of 40+ photos to explore. Purchase the ones you love — and leave the rest. It’s that simple.
All photography reservations, scheduling, purchases, cancellations, and other session arrangements are handled directly through Shoott. The Wilson Center does not book or manage individual photography appointments.
Explore the Grounds
Shoott sessions take place outdoors only, rain or shine, and may feature one of three areas surrounding the Wilson Center and Mitchell Park.
Location availability varies by date. Not all three sites will be available for every session. Shoott photographers coordinate with the Wilson Center in advance and will know which areas are available during your scheduled session.
SITE A: Burke Colonnade + Strohmaier Sculpture Garden
Capture the architecture of the Wilson Center alongside the art and landscaping of the Strohmaier Sculpture Garden. This location offers a mix of architectural details, sculpture, greenery, and landscaped spaces.
SITE B: St. Francis Bank Terrace + Promenade Tree line + North Mitchell Park
A mix of terrace, tree-lined pathways, and open park scenery gives this location plenty of variety for natural, relaxed portraits.
SITE C: Gerlach-Haack Outdoor Theater + Northeast Mitchell Park
Featuring the Wilson Center's outdoor theater and surrounding park landscape, this area combines distinctive architectural elements with the natural scenery of Mitchell Park.
Before Your Visit
The Wilson Center is an active performing arts center, event venue, and community gathering place. Performances, private events, classes, rentals, and other activities may be taking place during your visit. We ask all photography guests to be courteous and mindful of other Wilson Center and Mitchell Park visitors. Certain outdoor areas may occasionally be closed or have limited access due to scheduled events, and your Shoott photographer will guide you to the locations available that day.
Indoor photography is not permitted as part of Shoott sessions. Access to indoor Wilson Center spaces for professional photography is reserved exclusively for Wilson Center rental clients. Please also note that the Wilson Center building itself may not be open to Shoott guests during your session. We recommend planning accordingly before arriving.
Complimentary parking is available in the City of Brookfield public parking lot serving Wilson Center guests and Mitchell Park visitors.
