Our TakeTheStage program offers an immersive educational experience designed to train young performers to the standards of a professional music theatre company. Participants will hone their skills at Skylight Music Theatre, Milwaukee’s home for music theatre, and will be guided by professional teaching artists and guest artists of professional caliber.

This program is tailored for high school students with a particular interest in musical theatre performing, with an eye towards refining their audition materials for university musical theatre training programs or conservatories, as well as for those students who have a special interest in performing and auditioning at their high school arts programs. Participants will leave the program with material that is ready for high school and college auditions, as well as a high-quality video capture of their work. The program culminates in a showcase performance for family and friends.
