CANCELLED: An Evening with Kathy Mattea

PAS_KathyMattea.jpg

Hailed by The Washington Post as “one of Nashville’s finest song interpreters,” Kathy Mattea has enjoyed the kind of success many artists only dream of: two Grammy Awards, four CMA Awards, four #1 country singles, and five gold albums (plus a platinum collection of her greatest hits). Released in September 2018 as her first new album in six years, Pretty Bird is a sublime acoustic collection including many smartly chosen and heartfelt covers. Exquisitely arranged and delivered with the nuance that comes from a lifetime of heartbreak and triumph, Pretty Bird is a welcome reintroduction to one of country and Americana music’s most enduring and beloved figures.

COVID-19 performance update: Following many months of extensive conversations with artists and agents exploring all possible options, we regret that we have made the tremendously difficult decision to cancel this performance.  The value of your tickets has not been lost! It is being held safely on account for you with the following options: 1) Apply the value of your tickets to a future performance; this option may be used for any Wilson Center presented performance and will not ever expire; or 2) donate the value of your tickets to the Wilson Center to support our For the Love of the Arts fund; this donation will help us return to the stage next year well-prepared to welcome audiences back safely for our 20th Anniversary Season celebration! At this time, our Box Office has very limited hours; to ensure we are able to process your request as quickly as possible, please click here to let us know how you would like us to apply your ticket value. Thank you for your patience, flexibility, and understanding. We know there are better days ahead, and we are eagerly looking forward to welcoming you back to the Wilson Center!
