Founded in 2011, Jessica Lang Dance (JLD) is a New York City-based company whose mission is to present and perform dance works around the world that immerse global audiences in the beauty of movement and music. Lang has created more than 92 works for commissions from companies worldwide, including Birmingham Royal Ballet, The National Ballet of Japan, Joffrey Ballet, and Kansas City Ballet, among many others. JLD’s diverse repertoire demonstrates a commitment to artistic collaboration and a style that resists categorical definition.
During this 90-minute experience, students will be immersed in Lang's unique style of dance and will leave the class refreshed and re-energized in their creative theories and tools.
Area college, high school, and other local upper-level dance professionals and students are welcome to attend this free masterclass. Pre-registration and waiver is required and students under 18 must have permission from a parent or guardian. Spots are limited and appropriate dance attire is recommended.
The Box Office is open two hours prior to ticketed events & closes 30 minutes after the event begins.
