Celebrate National Collector Car Appreciation Day at our sixth annual Starry Nights Cruisin' at the Wilson Center on Friday, July 13!
STARRY NIGHTS CRUISIN' AT THE WILSON CENTER: FRIDAY, JULY 13, 2018
Gather your family and friends, pack your blankets and picnic baskets, and find your perfect spot in the Wilson Center’s backyard to celebrate National Collector Car Appreciation Day! Enjoy a free concert by Milwaukee's own The Rockin' Robins featuring music of the '50s and '60s, as well as an opportunity to look at hundreds of the area's best hot rods, classic cars, custom cars, antique cars, sports cars, and classic motorcycles.
This year’s Cruisin’ will feature a “T-Bucket Reunion” with extensively modified hot rods based on the 1915-1927 Ford Model T. As a new addition for families this year, children will receive a ballot to participate in a “Kids Favorite Car” voting, with three winning cars announced at intermission; all families who participate in the voting will receive a discount coupon for a Wilson Center visual art class. Families also will have an opportunity to visit with Milwaukee Public Museum’s cutest T.Rex couple, Carl and Carla, as they make a special guest appearance at the Cruisin’ for “dino” testing, a hula hoop contest, and more! Food and beverage vendors will be available on-site, and carry-ins are also welcome.
FREE CONCERT @ 6:30 PM / VEHICLE SHOW ENTRY @ 4:00 PM* **Entry limited to the first 300 cars; pre-registration is not required. Please note that the front row of the car corral will be reserved for T-Buckets. If you have questions, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or 262-781-9520.
The Box Office is open two hours prior to ticketed events & closes 30 minutes after the event begins.
