Homeless Not Hopeless

by Rebecca Moczulewski

Through April 27

From a young age, Rebecca has had a compassion for the poor and for those suffering from the lack of basic needs. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a teaching certification from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 1994. Throughout her years teaching elementary art in and around Milwaukee Public Schools, Rebecca witnessed the effects of poverty in the lives of children. This led to her active involvement with non-profit organizations that advocate for impoverished people, including Repairers of the Breach.

Repairers of the Breach is Greater Milwaukee’s grassroots homeless outreach provider—the area’s only daytime shelter and resource center for the homeless. Public relations firm The Falk Group works with Repairers of the Breach to seek and secure showings for Homeless Not Hopeless.

Working with Repairers of the Breach has given Rebecca the vision and determination to produce this body of work.
