Mark Morris’ company of exuberant dancers lives up to its reputation of wit, grace, and a refined musicality that is further reinforced by Morris’ commitment to live music, a feature of every performance on its full international touring schedule since 1996.

The Wilson Center program features 14 dancers performing to such diverse music as J.S. Bach, American composers Samuel Barber and Lou Harrison, and the father of Western swing, Bob Wills. It is not just dance at the highest level, it is concert-going at the highest level—a perfect blend of sound and movement, all happening in the moment.
