Jim Pugh and Eijiro Nakagawa form an exciting collaboration of the eastern and western trombone worlds. E 'n J takes a fresh look at the two-trombone fronted quintet made famous by JJ Johnson and Kai Winding. Since their debut at the New York Blue Note, they have been highly sought for their crowd-pleasing concerts, as well as master classes and clinics. Celebrating the release of their third album, they've performed worldwide including concerts in Japan, Australia, and the US proving again that for player and listener alike, jazz knows no borders.
