Explore the Arts

Babies, Toddlers, and Child Classes

Winter Jamboree
This winter we will make Carnival of the Animals come alive! Join us as we use instrument exploration, movement, art, and storytelling to learn musical concepts and develop instrument awareness, rhythm and listening skills. Each week we will highlight a new character and the instrument that portrays it in this musical story. Children will learn songs, and enjoy puppetry and dramatization activities. The Kids and Families classes will create their own characters to take home and reenact Carnival of the Animals again and again.

Early Childhood
A parent or caregiver attends and joins in on the fun as a role model. Learn new concepts and songs each semester! In an age-appropriate, supportive, and enjoyable environment, your child will have fun singing, listening, playing rhythm instruments, and moving to music. Concepts such as high/low, fast/slow, soft/loud, start/stop, and keeping a steady beat are appropriately introduced for each age, are sequential in development and reinforced throughout the course of study. Each age group has its own curriculum and lesson plans to promote your child’s continued interest and musical progress.
