Trumpet Choir

Thursdays, June 16−July 21, 6:00−6:55 pm
Trumpet choir offers students the opportunity to explore the more advanced skills in the art of trumpet playing. Enjoy an environment in which members can learn from one another. The repertoire ranges from baroque to jazz. A concert completes the experience.

Jazz Combo

Thursdays, July 5−August 9, 7:00−7:55 pm
High School students will learn and explore fundamentals of improvisation, accompaniment and group interplay as they perform standard repertoire. One session will be a performance at a local jazz club. All instrumentalists and vocalists are welcome.

Teens and Adults

Brass Ensemble

Starts week of June 12−August 3, 55 minutes
For players of the trumpet, trombone, French horn, euphonium (baritone) and tuba with an intermediate to advanced playing ability.

Brass players, keep the music making going this summer! Multiple sections of this course will ensure a balanced instrumentation and fulfilling experience for all players. Coaching sessions culminate in a performance at the Conservatory. Ensemble class dates and times will be determined by the instructor and the students in the ensemble. Prerequisite: New Student Placement Hearing required or consent of the instructor. Please call (414) 276-5760 to schedule an appointment.

Piano Chamber Music

Thursdays, June 14−August 2, 7:00−7:55 pm
Study and perform masterworks for two pianos in addition to the piano duet literature with a member of the professional piano duo team, Varshavski-Shapiro, winner of a number of international competitions. Prerequisite: intermediate to advanced level.

Adults

Sing to Your Health!

Wednesdays, June 13−July 25, 10:00−10:55 am
If you love to sing and appreciate the health benefits of singing—deeper breathing, multi-sensory and memory stimulation, social interaction—join our “no pressure, just for fun” hour of song. We will review healthy singing practices then sing the oldies but goodies as well as more recent favorites. You do not need to know how to read music, but should be able to sing on pitch.
6 weeks, no class 7/4

Individual Music Instruction and Classes
Individual instruction offers one-on-one learning experiences in voice, broadway, piano, guitar, suzuki strings, violin, viola, cello, bass, flute, oboe, trumpet, hand drumming, and music therapy. Lessons are available for all ages, levels, and styles of music with faculty who can best serve your individual needs.
Tuition rates are $30−$32 per ½ hour lesson.
