Wisconsin Philharmonic: A Northern Light, Mozart's Requiem

The immortal Mozart Requiem gets a rare philharmonic performance, as we’re joined by two of our historic choral partners and a fine array of Milwaukee vocal soloists. But to begin out season finale, the haunting half-light of one of Sibelius’ early masterworks, En Saga; and then, a delicious dose of French Impressionism with Maurice Ravel’s famous Suite from Le Tombeau De Couperin – a brilliant bouquet of pieces in the old Baroque style, each one dedicated by Ravel to a friend he lost in World War One.
