Study Guide

What is a baby bat to do when an owl knocks her out of her mother’s grasp? Little Stellaluna is lucky to land in a nest of baby birds, but her adopted family expects her to act like one of them! Eventually Stellaluna is able to show her bird siblings what life as a bat is like. Based on the charming book by Janell Cannon, this moving performance combines puppetry and song to tell the tale of discovering and accepting similarities and differences.
